She was the grandma and mother-in-law from hell. This woman was so upset that her daughter-in-law was divorcing her son and in a custody battle that she shot her. She went over to the house where she was staying with her parents and two children and shot her four times. To her credit - it there is such a thing in this case - she took the two boys, both under age 10 outside before committing the dastardly deed. The 64 year old Georgia grandma pleaded guilty recently and was sentenced to life in prison. Apparently she was extremely upset about the divorce and custody battle. Have you ever been so upset about anything that the thought of doing harm to someone actually crossed your mind? https://www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/grandma-admits-murdering-daughter-in-law-during-messy-divorce-case-while-grandsons-were-nearby/ar-BBKeo3P?li=AAacUQk&ocid=spartandhp

I get pissed but not to the point of doing something horrific as that grandmother from hell.

Never got to that point but sometimes people just wish it in a fit of anger but don't actually do it.

Honestly, yes. And about four times. When I lost custody of my daughter due to her "father" abusing her. After I had to fight for 1.5 years to get her back just for her to not come home because her "father" was still going to court and on the streets. When he got off with just probation and fines to pay. And each of the times he's had another kid. Since he's not supposed to be around kids, even his own.

I hear you and if anyone would be justified in losing it would be in situations like yours. I have been real close in my younger days but thank God I maintained my cool.

I can empathize with her but I cannot help not being supportive about taking the law into her own hands. The shooting does not solve anything but brings more consequential damages to all involved. It is sad to see this happen but as you can see the children will be traumatized and be stranded to live in foster homes if their dad is incapable of taking care of them.

Some mothers do crazy things for their sons - and that woman definitely lost her mind. She is paying the price.

Yes she is paying a price. Mothers just need to back off sometimes and let their adult kids work things out.

Many times I have been upset. I even curse those who are responsible for it, but I never thought of harming them.

Anger is a terrible thing and it can sometimes bring out the worst in normally mild people.
