I feel bad for my Sophie

Since Sophie's incident where she jumped down to the porch below us and could not jump up and had to get the police to help me get her back I cannot let her on the porch. She goes out with me and if she is still out I call her to come in. I know it must be hard for her to look out when she probably wants to be out but I cannot call the police again. I do not want to press my luck or cry police all the time. I thought it would rain and then could wait to figure out a solution but we have had nice days. I put at ad and asked people but will have to contact one or two people I was given to find a temporary solution so she can go out on the porch without me and cannot jump down.

Poor little Sophie. She must be miserable being trapped inside.

Actually Marilyn, we were both on the porch yesterday. So when I go out she goes out there.

@garymarsh6 I had a cat that would run half way up the wall and go back down all the time.

@shaggin
We have something on the porch and I thought she would not climb up on it but she does Shaggin. I will have to find a carpenter when things gets quieter. We have a holiday coming up and then after that I have things to take care and then we have our Independence Day and I have a new calendar to create so lots to to.Thank you Shaggin and that is ok. I need to meet with carpenters or one here and have them see the situation and explain what happened.

When I call someone I will have them come over and we will discuss something temporary to put. The vet suggested something slippy so she cannot climb up it. Right now things are very busy with lots to do to get ready for our upcoming holiday and so do not have time and right after the holiday other things to do and a calendar to do so will have to wait till around May. Thanks Judy. Good idea you suggested.

Thanks Sandra and I will check out the link I read it Sandra. She doesn't fall. She jumps down herself. She cannot jump up and that is why I need to find some way to let her on the porch where she will not jump down anywhere.

Aw poor kitty. It is mindful of you to not want to repeat that situation. I've seen a big - looks like a play pen for kids but it has a roof - that you can put your pets in and set it outside. I don't know if that helps....

Faye, that is an interesting idea but she may be able to get the roof off. Thanks.
