Do you like jewellries?

I have to say that I am totally into jewellries. I can spend hours online watching different jewellery stores. My boyfriend laughes at me when he sees jewellries on my screen. It happens quite often.
Personally I like white gold and silver. I usually watch bracelets and rings. What about you? Do you like jewellries? How often do you wear them?

@anikoonline Just that I am now retired and I do not go anywhere to wear them. I will pass them on to someone when I am gone..they are not worth a penny but only sentimental.

@Courage7 I don't wear my jewellries at home neither. I go to work everyday which is a good opportunity to wear them.
I am sure that someone will be happy to get this inheritance and because of its sentimental value will take good care of the collection.

@anikoonline Yeah actually its suppose to be in a shape of a shell, but nowadays there are many different crafted designs. They look beautiful but they are not which were culturally valued in the old days. I have posted a picture of the actual shape of the Mangalsutra that all the Indian married women wear.

@epiffanie Many comments here told the same and I feel it, too. I used to wear big earrings, but now I don't feel that they fit.
Do you have a site where I can see the jewelries that you designed? I would check it.

I only wear a watch. I do not wear any jewellery ! I must say I do like looking at the royal jewellery! I can't wait to visit the Faberge museum in St. Petersburg in May!

I am not into jewelries because I get allergies from it. I wear only when necessary but it cannot remain in my body for a long period of time.

I am sorry to hear it. I know that many people have allergies to different materials that are the elements of jewellries. Can you wear gold or silver or these cause you problems, too?

@anikoonline It's okay. I can wear them (gold or silver) but not for a long period. I only use them during special occasions or sometimes I do not wear any like necklaces and rings.

I used to wear a lot when I was younger but now I only wear silver sleepers in my ears and a St Christopher round my neck. Even though gold is expensive it seems to make my skin go red so I tend to buy silver.

Maybe you have an allergy to gold. At least silver is cheaper.

@FayeHazel I also have silvers with and without stones. My absolute favourite has no stones, I wear it everyday.
I have a small statue, which is a tree from wire and its leaves are small amethysts. It is beautiful!

Like @Courage7, I used to love jewellery, and have collected quite a bit over the years. No "real" jewellery, which I could never afford, but pretty costume pieces. Now it all sleeps happily in the top drawer of my dresser, and all I ever wear is the studs in my ears.

I also have a collection, mostly they are in my jewel box. Nowadays I wear only my silver and gold jewellries. I think a pair of earrings can be really nice.
