This is a dakimakura or a Waifu Pillow. (Waifu is the Japanese pronunciation of the English word Wife) Recently many Japanese men became too Shy to have a girlfriend so they buy these lifesize pillows with fictional characters from Anime,Videogames, movies and comics. They hug it while they sleep while some men start treating these pillows as their spouse. There is a man who married his Waifu Pillow. Oh there are also "Husbando Pillows" for women and gay men. Every Anime, videogame and movie characters in existence have their pillows. There are celebrity pillows too for the stalkerish fans. C'mon Japan! You are a country that needs to make babies. Date a real person instead of hugging these pillows.

@much2say The parents of this young girl buys her Husbando Pillows. I think USA will be the next victim of the Pillow Plague. People will stop dating, getting married, They will just hug pillows while hoarding cats. Her "boyfriend" is a pillow too.
Hello Everyone :) I have another unboxing video for you all cause I know how much you all love them :) Hope you enjoy Body Pillow Laito -http://www.ebay.co.u...

That is really sad . . . that's basically a blow up doll, but a pillow! Sorry but a pillow companion for me wouldn't cut it. And yah, the population there is declining!!

@much2say These Pillows have something to offer to every demographic. I even seen one with Betty White. The My little ponies ones are creepy as hell.

Another crazy, strange trend that makes me wonder if the human race is losing its collective mind. So many weird things going on and no one even is even embarrassed enough to cover them up, they don't even know they should be embarrassed.

@peavey Waifu pillow of with a Pillow printed on it instead of a woman. This Pillow trend is growing like a virus. People gave up on love so they resorted to pillows.

Japan's population has been dropping since I was just an elementary student because I remember one of my teachers telling us how their government would encourage them to have children. Now I'm already 40 years old and still they are having such a problem and getting worse.

Those Waifu Pillows are really selling well in Japan because many men prefers them because Pillows won't complain. Now they are also gaining popularity in the US. I dont know but it seemed like men of this generation have low self esteem to ask a woman out.

Now that is ridiculous. How utterly silly it's like when guys keep those blow-up plastic dolls around. I just found something even worse. In this link from 2015 it says there are pillows that can respond to you. Crazy.

So not only his invention pillow responds from touches, she is a 14 year old girl. The owner of these pillows are getting creepier. One of the weirdest trends I had ever seen.

That's sad but in some way it's better as when they have a partner like this they won't have fights which means they will have a very peaceful life

Those pillows wont love them back though and eventually the pillows will be filled with bed bugs. In fairness with those pillows they look comfortable to hug.

Do you really need a picture on the pillow if you're going to sleep in the dark? Good thing is that they're long enough, I would love to have one. Real people snore and have bad breath in the morning, are you kidding me?! I'm joking, I prefer real people as well.

I think they use the pillows for other things aside from sleeping. Some of the pillows are very lewd. These are samples of Husbando Pillows for women. I think the 3rd woman have Winter Soldier as her Husbando.

@CaptAlbertWhisker Yeah, they must be doing other things with their husbandos. A pillow, as comforting as it can be, would never turn me on.
