Its a sweet almost Spring morning. There was just a little bit of ice to scrape off the car this morning. The heater mostly took care of the problem.
Paperwork and forms and calling insurance agencies: will you insure my house, please? Will you take our money each and every month?
Friendly people so far: I found a writer's group for the county our new house is in. Yes. A writer's group! I joined their group via Facebook and got some welcomes from the little blurb that I sent them. A man from the group started chatting right off about old houses. Loved that. Got me itchy to run across the mountains and check out the park he mentioned.
I hope everyone is doing well and that our almost Spring is being kind to you.

@rebelann Good question. Don't know until we get there. Neither of us has lived in a 2 story house in..... thinking. Maybe since we've been together. I hope he takes it as a challenge. He doesn't do all that stereotypical step counting. He uses his cane and was taught when he was a teenager how to travel using that as a helper. His main issue is getting other folks to leave him alone so that he can figure stuff out on his own. Bumping into a wall may look odd but it doesn't hurt anything. He has so many tools to bring. Packing the drills etc. is going to be an experience for sure.

@rebelann I've loved this property even while knowing that I am too much on my little island. Daughter has said to me that I can just keep living via the computer but I'm not convinced that is healthy. She also found some places in the new area that have water exercise classes! So its bitter sweet but staying put does not appear to be the best for me and my hubby.

Spring was being kind with the temp in the pluses and snow melting but today and tomorrow it will be a bit in the minuses again and get back up there on Sunday.
