Based on what number do we get paid?

Right now my earnings (from discussions) for March say $1.2791 but the amount on the top right corner of mylot says $1.2764. I remember someone saying there is a difference in the amount because of the rounding off to two decimal places that happens when we are paid. Is that correct?
I am also wondering... are we paid based on the number that appears on the top right corner of mylot or on the amount that appears on the "Earnings from Discussions" page for that month (or sum of months if five wasn't reached in one month)?

I am a new member also and that confuses me too. I know that it is updated every hour, so maybe the greater amount is what you have earned since the last update and will show up in the next update.
I keep seeing the decimal point as a comma and think; WOW! Have I really earned $28,829 dollars?

You'd think the numbers would be the same. But they usually never are. I think JJ explained this recently. But I don't remember what he said...

I wish I knew. But, on the other hand, I reach the site´s minimum in the middle of the month so it is not that important.

On all the sites where I can earn something, I keep track of all monthly earnings and payments in Excel. I just hate it when numbers don't add up... It's great if you get to five bucks in the middle of the month.

Yes, that's correct.
I believe we are paid based on the number that appears on the top right corner, it would be easier to sum up the other months, and the decimal roundings, this way.

Right now my 'earnings from discussions' is higher than what's at the top right corner.
