So, anyway, I am in the kitchen making a bit of lunch when I notice a glob of something on my newly washed and hung sweatshirt. I am not talking a small glob, this was a big glob of goo. I was like Wthe heck is that? So, anyway, I go over and look to see where it might have come from. Nothing drippng from the ceiling..nothing from the dryer..I tasted it just to see what it was..it had no taste at all leading me to think it was not a food item. Roomie had left for the weekend so I couldn't ask him about it..Could poltergeists be coming and night and dropping globs on my clothing??. I have to tell you I am stymied! Any theories will be entertained...It was white, and not near the stove..the laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen..but far enough from the stove that a glob from cooking wouldn't have traveled that far..

That is very strange indeed. Had you been cooking and given a stirring spoon a bit of a flick? I hope you solve the mystery.

I wasn't maybe roomie did, but he wasn't around to ask. I mean it was a major glob..probably 3 inches long and an inch or two wide. I was almost thinking it was vaseline..but that didn't make sense either. It just seemed to come from nowhere..??

@JudyEv Yikes, well I did check the ceiling for anything..A kitten couldnt get on my roof, but a squirrel could. What it really looked like what the fat from uncooked bacon..but neither roomie or myself had been cooking bacon.

@Courage7 Its white. It almost looks like it could be fat from meat..but it is very big..Even cleaning pans or soemthing it is highly doubtful anything would have flown that far.

I suspect your roomie is the guilty one.

Could you use a stain remover? Just do it and forget about where it came from. You will probably discover where after another washing.

Could it be something from another item of clothing that you washed with it? (Like your undies?) :-D

Ahh, no I don't have huge globs in my undies. This had already been washed, dried and hung..it was perfectly clean. The glob happened sometime after it was washed. dried and hung.
