It is amazing that despite the fact that we are near the end of winter, the ponds in the Danville New Hampshire region are not safe places for animals or humans to walk on. A dog named Buster fell into a lake that was covered in thin ice on Friday. Thanks to the first responders and the Danville Fire Department, Buster was saved from drowning or freezing to death by the firefighers who risked their lives to rescue the dog, Buster was returned to his owner shortly after the brave firemen who used an ice sled to rescue the dog on Friday.

You would think that dogs and cats would know better than to walk on thin ice.

@Hannihar That is true since humans and animals appreciate when someone helps them.

@Deepizzaguy I am sure the dog appreciated them saving him or her and I am sure the owners were very thankful too.
