Happy Saturday to all of us! I hope you had a sound sleep, or for those at the other side of the globe, I hope you will also have a restful Friday night. This is a sort-of continuation of my discussion about sneezing. Yesterday, the only thorn among the roses of 4 students I had for the week, had nasal congestion that he would always inhale deeply so his watery nasal discharges won’t come out. He often wanted to sneeze too. He, and the rest of us, is using a face mask. He tried all possible means to resolve his ‘impending sneeze’ but to no avail. He twisted a corner of his handkerchief and inserted the pointed edge in one of his nares. Sneeze did not continue. I gave him a piece of my advice, to look up directly to the sun so his sneezing reflex will be resolved. He did, and he sneezed loud, about 3 times. Then he thanked me. This style of inducing the sneeze was taught by my mother. How about you, my fellow lotters? How do you induce your sneezing?

I did not know looking at the sun would redice your sneezing.

no, it does not reduce the sneezing but it induces the sneeze.

It makes you sneeze, so you can get it over with instead of just waiting for the sneeze to come.

so, you will stimulate the inside of your nostril by rolling the tissue and then... sneeze comes out. i sometimes do that but i prefer looking up to the sun.

I don't have any style. When it comes, it comes. When it doesn't, I just blow the nose.

won't you have headache if you blow your nose when you want to sneeze? have you experienced the pain from the inside of your nose and going up to your frontal part of your heart, due to interrupted sneeze?-
