Hello everyone.
After much thought this morning.Told Mike time for me to hang it up
After Friday game of tennis. With the chest pains was the sign for me
I have been playing tennis for a long time.
Very distraught about this.I knew this was coming. But did not want to face it.
I will cut back on my activity at the club.Just three days a week for strength training.
This was part of my whole life.It is not easy for me to put the racquet down.
My body is telling me things.
Will see my heart doctor next week.

It's not easy living with a body that is slowing bowing down to old age. I admire you senior citizens. You have to stop doing a lot of things you used to enjoy when you were younger. But take courage, God has promised us a time when our bodies will be young again. When we will never grow old. That time is coming.

I am sorry to hear that, maybe you could play ping pong. Get a little ping pong table. Do not have to run around as much. Just a thought. It really does suck when the day comes when we know everything ends. I am sure there is something out there that you can find that brings you close to as much joy as tennis while being easier on your body.

I'm sorry to hear, these times come sooner or later, for all of us:( Still we need to remain active, but gradually cut back as we get older. It's hard to accept, but our body will never lie to us, we must learn to follow its warning signs.
