Sally pup started demanding I play ball before the sun came up. Pretty usual for her busy brain. A minute ago, distracted me, I grabbed the ball from her and tossed it. I looked up to see the ball hit the top of Leah pup's food bag. The ball bit the bag top, swirled and whee!! in it went. Yup. Sally stood outside that bag and peered in, looking, wanting, but how to get it?? Hubby got up and helped her. First time ever that I've played basketball with a bag of dog food. Wonder if I can score again?

@paigea Sally loves to place the ball in my boot when I haven't got them on yet. Somehow I should teach her to toss it into that bag.

@rebelann Its grandly warm out this morning. I've been outside and Sally of course has been bugging me again to throw toys. I hate how she gets tired faster now but her spirit to catch and bring it back zip! remains.

Yeah, I've noticed Ally slowing as well @sallypup She turned 7 in December and now instead of running at least 10 laps around the mobile home she's only getting in about 5 or so. At least she's still running.

@rebelann Sally is around eight now. Considering that most every day she flies through the air and catches the toy before it hits the ground, she is doing okay. I guess we just need to treasure our pups while we have them.
