One For The Outcasts (Modern Day Movie Like The Outsiders)

I suppose there really is a 1000 ways to hate one another. At times, I really do think many would rather all of us to be robots than human beings. We would all dress the same and think the same. Maybe small tiny things can be different just to keep life from being so boring. If too different in your way of thought and dress, be prepared to deal with the ramifications of hate like no other. Quite amazing how so many talk about freedom. Well, we used to, not much anymore. We all kind of excepted we just are not that free anymore. I watched "Bomb City" at my friends house last night. He knew I was into punk rock and wanted me to see it. Pretty neat you can get the see the movie on things like Google play because you know my home town would not play a movie like that in a theater. Not a happy movie, but one that think needed to be told. About how Punk Rockers and Jocks get into a huge altercation after butting heads for so long. The Jocks feel the punks are freaks and just trying to scare people. The punks feel like they have no place where they can call their own. I saw that someone said "Bomb City sounded like a modern day "Outsiders" story. The difference this was a real life story that is based on true events. The tragic story took place in Amarillo, Texas in 1997. I thought was the perfect description and movie was pretty good. I think there was parts that could be done a bit better or a bit more in depth. I do get why they told it the way they did overall and think they did a great job of showing how the different sides get treated by authority. Then explains why the punks were treated that way. It is kind of one those low budget indie films. Given that, the movie is one of the better movies I think people will see in 2018. More important a lesson to be told here. See if it is your cup of tea right here:

It was good in a sad realistic way, well as realistic as they make movies. Always stretch the truth a bit to keep people interested. Heard some of the characters were not accurately depicted. One guy they said was not an angry loner drunk that that they portrayed him to be in the movie from a comment I read anyway. People should now by now take everything with a grain of salt.

Yeah it is a pretty hard movie to watch with them not being able to respect one another. It also has many other issues that it brings up about society in general and our justice system. Not a pleasant movie but one that again should be seen in my opinion or how else are people going to work past their differences. Unless, they really do just want to wipe each other off the face of the earth.

Looks good. I'll have to look for it, because I had no idea that it even existed. Thanks for the heads up.
