A Pain in the Neck / myLot

In every office I worked in, there was always a pain in the neck. Just about everyone hated him being around. Many times he acted as if he knew everything. When he was cornered in a discussion, he always found ways to escape as if wanting not to lose in a discussion. What kind of a pain in the neck person you ever encountered in your life?

i guess it goes both ways. there are people in real life that annoy and frustrate me, but i'm sure there are people who feel the same about me!

There always seems to be a pain in the neck person in whatever association or group that you're in. When we played in brass bands, there was always one person who would be difficult to deal with.

@yanzalong It was always up to the bandmaster to deal with them. The rest of us just put up with them.

There are many different kinds of annoying people in the offices, those who know everything, those who are always right, those who are always late and you have to do their job... all pains in the neck.
