Careless people!

Today I was on my way home from a long walk and stopped to rest after climbing a huge hill. The last few days have been sunny and dry so most of the moisture from last weeks snow and rain was dried up. There was a woman standing on top of the hill with her dogs and she was smoking a cigarette. Instead of putting the cigarette out after she was finished, she carelessly threw it in the bushes! This is how brush fires and forest fires get started. How can people be so careless?! >8-0

@Starmaiden - undeveloped land mass is huge in california ! most of the fires in california start by accident though.

Especially after last years brush fires in California and BC. It is good to have those laws in place. Problem is, the authorities are never around when these mindless people break those laws. :-(

@mydanods That isnt the point. The point is...brain or not...they can still burn and catch fire when dry. :-)

Being so careless is something I would expect from a little kid. But not an adult!
