Spin Off Posts!!!

When U read different posts, do U sometimes post posts that R very similar to the post U just read? I call these spin off post!! Ideas that come to mind when reading other posts that are practically identical to that post!!!

Yes, sometimes I've has an idea for a discussion after reading a discussion. I don't see a problem with that.

I'm getting a lot of ideas for posts from reading other posts!!! I couldn't think of too many ideas. Now I'm coming up with a lot of them!! But if I post a post that is identical to another, in my case, it is a coincidence!!!

Yes, it does happen a lot. When I was active in making new posts, I found myself writing three to five posts about related topics.

I've come up with so many ideas reading other people's post!! I couldn't think of any at first! But I don't want to do that too often!! And seem to be copying off of other posts!!!

I don't think I have had inspiration strike from just reading posts, but there have been a lot of times where I've had ideas pop into my head after commenting back and forth on a thread with other members. Sometimes other members even give me ideas and suggestions directly. You never know when inspiration will strike!

@db20747 Hey, I think that anything that causes us to continue conversing and commenting back and forth on this site is a good thing! The whole idea is to create interactions between members!

Yes, I am now getting lots of ideas by reading others' posts!! I sure hope it's not too many duplicates or identical posts!!! Don't want to copy off of somebody!!!

It happens and it's often due to a specific topic. Let's say, the day we are paid you find many (too many) post about PayDay.

If I do a spin off post I would mention the original writer's name and wait at least 24 hours before posting. Anyway that might have occurred maybe twice in over 300 discussions I have posted here.
