Day Eighteen: Write about something you wish you could fix. Well, this is another topic that I have many answers to. But since I can only pick one.. I wish I could fix broken hearts. Whether be from a diss by a crush, a breakup / divorce, or finding out your partner cheated.. Losing a loved one to death, or family moving away. Even being bullied.. Heartbreaks hurt - ALOT. And for some, like me, they never get easier. And I just absolutely hate seeing people hurting! And hearing that they've been having bad thoughts, hiding away, and or thinking they aren't good enough. Etc! Especially since I know just how all that feels. Like.. I just want everyone happy and enjoying life! Though I know that's never going to happen.. But a girl can wish! And I do very much wish I could fix all the broken hearts in this cruel world.

I wish I could bring back my Mom but that's not happening. I'd love to bring my old Mom to our new house. The new nowadays Mom won't understand but the old Mom sure would enjoy herself there. That would be a grand repair, even for a single day.

@sallypup Thanks. I think the dreams are part of the grieving process.

You have a big heart when you wish for this. I wish that I could fix my health issues. I have a few of them, and they're complex, and without medications I wouldn't be able to drive or function, and that bothers me. So, if I could fix anything it would be anyone who has more then 1 chronic illness.

Fixing broken hearts would be great. So many people are in need of that.

@Courtlynn When I saw D18 in your title, I laughed. The key for the guitar (a $3000 instrument) was masking carefully and applying the glue carefully. I actually just used "blue tape" as a clamp. It doesn't damage the finish.

I see broken hearts as learning experiences. We all recover eventually. At least in some degree.

They can be learning experiences, but not always. Depends on the reason for the broken heart.

It is really sad when anyone loses a family member. I wish people did not have to lose anyone and would ever have to be sad. But that is not going to happen.
