The Storms Of March 19

The weather people were on all day yesterday warning people to prepare for a rough evening and they predicted it exactly right. Except....... The storms stayed to the north of I-20 interstate and all the damage, well the worst was above me in the next town. Winds 70 - 80 mph, hail from pea size to tennis ball size. The lightening was bad as well, not much thunder. The storm that did hit my home was around 10 pm, the hail was little pea size and the winds were not as bad as the main storms but bad enough. It only lasted about 15 minutes but we did lose power, so far looking out the window everything is okay. I have not heard if everything is okay around the rental houses, I am guessing that if there was a problem someone would have called. I do thank God and I thank everyone for the prayers.

Another Nor'easter is scheduled to arrive some time tomorrow....enough! We've been fortunate....most of the storms have passed north and west of us....or well east of us.

I spent the evening watching James Spann online. The footage of that Dollar General store and all the car windows busted out by the hail was amazing. So thankful I haven’t heard any report of injuries or fatalities.

Reminds me of tropical storms and hurricanes - but the duration is much longer than 15 minutes.

Yes we have longer storms but this one was fast, sometimes they can last 5 minutes and rip everything up.
