How do you feel about brussel sprouts?

We had them last night with dinner and then again with lunch today. After eating them with lunch today it got me wondering about how other people liked them. I personally love them, but I know they are one of those foods that people especially kids don't care for. What about you? Are you a brussel sprout eater?

I am okay with them. They aren't my favorite but I don't hate them. I keep a bag or 2 in the freezer to have when I want something different from spinach, green beans, cauliflower, or broccoli.

See I like them more than cauliflower. Cauliflower I like if its mashed or in a recipe. On its own Im not crazy about it.

I love them. But I know that the world is divided between lovers and haters of Brussel sprouts. It is all or nothing.

@thislittlepennyearns Sometimes, after I cook them, I fry them with bacon cut up in small bits. Other times I toss some bread crumbs and fry them.

@thislittlepennyearns I find them a bit watery and they definitely have a flatulent effect.

@xFiacre Lentils are so good though. But yes they can be quite the fart inducer.

Nope I'd rather disembowel myself with a blunt knife dipped in hot sauce than eat sprouts! As a kid I used to dip them in gravy and feed them to the dog under the table!!

There so good though. Taste buds change. You should try them again.

@thislittlepennyearns Nah I have eaten them out of politeness when we've been at someone's house for dinner!! Every time I'm wishing there was still a hungry dog under the table I do eat veg just not sprouts or carrots

I used to hate brussel sprouts, but a few years back I decided to revisit foods that I didn't like and see if my tastes had changed. I found a recipe for brussel sprouts that involves slicing them thinly and frying with onions and bacon. Yummy!

I had them once and I think it caused an allergic reaction so I never touched them again. I was 18 at the time though and am 34 now so I'm going to give them a try again. I remember I liked them. I bought a bag of them at Aldis the other day but need to buy Parmesan cheese.

I didn't have them until I was an adult! I've heard for years how people hated them in disgust, but I actually loved them from the very first try. We love them with red onions and balsamic vinegar!
