Hello,tell me this.
When you comments and leave part of the user name out.
For instance @Tampa_girl 7.
sometime I forget to add the numbers and many here.
So do they still get the comment. How about misspelled.the name.
The video is the finale of Chorus Line.
James Patterson is waiting for me.
Photo of my daughters .

You know it is funny you bring this up because Sharon had the issue where she was not getting her comments because her name was not coming up but I think it is taken care of now

Yes, Tina, Sharon told me that I wasn't typing her login-name each time. So, she wasn't getting my comments.

@amadeo I think if we make a mistake the person doesn't see it

I would have expected the slightest error in the address to invalidate it or misdirect it - if it works though, all well and good for you

I don't believe they get notified if you mis-spell their name. If you are responding to a comment they have left, their user name is automatically added. If you are responding on their own posts it's unnecessary to add their name. The only reason to type their user name is if you want to draw their attention to something they would not otherwise see, or if you are on a long thread where it's unclear who you are addressing.

Your question, I'm not sure if they receive it or not. At times, I don't remember to put their user name. Other times, it's already written in the comment box. From time to time, some things change on My Lot. They are very talented, another nice one! And is that your baby picture?

@JolietJake I had one lady say, 'I had no idea who you were talking to! You forgot to write my login name!'' So, I started adding the login name each time.

@JolietJake I tried to keep her happy, so started filling in the login name every time.

It won't tell them they were mentioned in a post if their name is not tagged exactly. Has happened to me a few times people write shaggins or something and it does not tag me.

I don't know, honestly. I only "mention" anyone when it fills automatically. You are one of the people that it does that.

If the comment doesn't show up in the discussion after you post it then most likely the person won't get it. :-)
