There Is A Chicken In My Head

You heard me right, There is a chicken in my head. OK, got me, not really. For some reason the commenters of this song seem to think the band is saying they have a chicken in their head. Probably because it does sound like they are saying there is a chicken in their head. Are you with me so far? Pennywise, the SoCal punk/skater/surfer legends are back with a new video off their "never gonna die album." Back to the comments where one said the chorus reminded them of Anthrax's "Got the Time." That goes like this: "Time, got the time tick tick tickin' in my head." Except, that actually sounds like it looks. Pennywise put some flare in theirs with how they have a time bomb in their head, then a chicken in their head. One thing I am confused about Their first song was about never going to die and this song is live while you can before you die. Oh I get it now, the beliefs of what they were singing about was never gonna die. Beliefs may not die but people sure do. Pennywise does not change much in their style and this is about as different as they get from one song to the next. One of the few bands that can pull this off. I am not sure how it works, but it does. So happy they added the words of the lyrics in the video or people would be going around singing they have a chicken in their head.

Reckon that's why they overlaid the "tickin in my head" words over the video haha it definitely sounds like chicken in my head Great band looking forward to hearing what the rest of the new album is like!

Indeed, I have not ever heard them put out a bad album. Wish some albums were longer but punk seems to be a 30 minute average album these days. I think it is enough to cover their tours where they make most of their money is why albums are so short because no one sells as many and bands are just not going to put that amount of work if they make most of their money on the concerts anyway.

They did not change them they just showed the lyrics in the video so people did not mistake them. I changed the sentence a little because could see how you might think that with way I wrote it.

@teamfreak16 We ended up getting burnt sliders from Carls Jr. Apparently had a bunch of new hires running the show and they burnt the fries the burgers and forgot the cookie. Should of had chicken.
