My kid brother shared a video of a college student who plunged to her death from the third floor of the building where she studied. It was so horrible because there were some students at the ground looking up to her and telling her to get back and out of the safety rails. The person who took the video happened to pass by so he took the falling of the victim, but the lady fell between 2 buildings so her actual position on the ground was not shown. The reason for the suicide is actually worse- pregnancy. This is the third suicide of students here in my city; the first 2 suicides were due to the students’ inabilities to pay their tuition fees. The suicide yesterday is worse because her unborn child was also affected. The lady killed herself and her child, because of that circumstance that should not be consummated while still in school. Rest in peace, lady and unborn child.

This is horrible, does it exist a social organization to take care of pregnant unmarried girls?

@ridingbet I see how they should be castrated without undergoing surgery. I do not mean a medical organization. Here we have social security services who take care to find a small apartment where to move the young mother with the baby and they help them during the first years, until the young mom can find a job.

@LadyDuck no, i do not mean castrated as in undergoing surgery to remove the vital reproductive organs. what i mean by castrated is removing of their ability to be strong, or to weaken them in terms of the psychological capacities and power. as what dictionarydotcom defines castration: "to render impotent, literally or metaphorically, by psychological means, especially by threatening a person's masculinity or femininity. 4. to deprive of strength, power, or efficiency; weaken"

How awful that the poor girl thought there was no other way out. Tragic. That video should never have been taken.

The video is now taken out of Facebook but some still photos are posted by our local news agency here. It turned out that the victim was a Grade 7 student aged 11. She has a picture smiling and I can't really fathom why she decided to end her life.

it's hard not to be affected and forget when you witness something like that. i feel sorry for the families of those three students.

true. there are many women who cannot bear children. she should have talked to her parents and give the baby the right to live.

Oh, that's so tragic. I wish she had realized there were other ways to deal with this.

The school holds no responsibility with the act of the girl. I think she did it on her own volition
