@thislittlepennyearns I wondered the same thing at first but he explained it to me. Kind on like helps people find posts who have similar interests even if the post topic has nothing to do with it. I see similar things on Instagram where guys do this.

My best friend from college is gay. He lives far away, but we had a lot of fun together. I introduced him to hiking, and now he hikes all the time. It's very relaxing for him.

There are two people here I interact with that are openly gay including you and I see nothing wrong with that.
I have a lot of gay friends and I enjoy their company even more than women. I find them very fun to be with, very creative, and never a dull moment.

I'm straight @amadeo but I've had a lot of gay friends in my life. And there's nothing like going to a party with a lot of gay guys and not have to worry about me being 'felt' up.
