Just when is it wise to comment on a topic? / myLot

It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt. Have you been in such a situation and ever regretted putting you two cent in?

I think it depends. Sometimes you have to speak out when you think that you are being mistreated and abused. But there are times when speaking is just a waste of time, most especially when you deal with stupidity.

Then what is the point of joining mylot if you won't put your "two cents" worth in? Discussions are all about exchanging ideas and opinions.(even foolish ones).

I know exactly what you mean. Many a time I have started to write something and then thought "nah, don't, you don't know enough to contribute". Other times I just jumped in and made myself look a complete idiot!
