I need to save $120.

My kids and I listen to music by a rapper named Logic. Groupon and Living Social have recently carried his tickets for $20 apiece locally. The tickets alone would be $60 for the three of us which honestly isn't too bad for general admission tickets on the lawn at the PNC Pavilion for a Grammy nominated artist. The problem lies that there is no public transportation at all to the pavilion so we would have to use Uber to drive us there. It would cost about $30 each way, but I think it just might be worth it for the experience. My son has never attended a concert and he's 17. My daughter attended her first concert with her aunt, her cousin and I. We watched Katy Perry out in Newark, NJ. Her aunt paid for all 4 tickets. I hope I can save the money.

I'm 26 and I never been to a concert. Though it's more because I don't want to spend money on music. But good luck on your saving quest!

It's always a good experience. I went to my first concert when I was 17. It was a Jars of Clay concert. I know I didn't spend much, but it was over 20 yrs ago so I can't remember how much the tickets cost me. Lol but I can count on one hand the amount of paid concerts I've attended. I won tickets to two other concerts: two tickets to a Bon Jovi concert once, and then another time two tickets to see Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias. Many times I see free concerts. Still a fun experience.

True but my lot isn't going to get me $120 in less than a few months.

Oh I know how that is - saving up for an event. My favorite band isn't going back on tour until next year and I'm already saving here and there. Would you be able to stay in a hotel/motel overnight, or would the Uber be a better option for you three? I really hope it works out and you can all go.

That seems like too much work for the concert when his music isn't even that good

I am also wishing to attend a concert. I didn't try it yet for the rest of my life. Anyway, good luck to you. I wish you can save and earn more than that.

Oh, I earn more than that in the month, but groceries, rent, electric, transportation to and from work are my priorities. Some months are a little harder than others financially, but our needs are always taken care of. Sometimes we just don't have the money to spare for something like a concert
