As a writer we face many roadblocks to production. Kids, time, noice, etc. But don't add yourself to this list. I have too many times heard people say things like; "noone wants to read my story," or "I'm not a good writer." Once these thoughts start to clog your mind your story is dead. Write for yourself I promise there are people out there wanting to read what you have to say. And about being a good writer ornot is ridiculous; tell a story on paper exactly how you would say it to someone. Editing and rewriting is what makes you a better writer. Noone gotbetter by not doing. So remove your biggest roadblock, self-doubt, and just write.

My biggest roadblock would be to not know how to continue on a story or article. Usually I try again after a good night's rest.

A few things to try is right before stopping for the day write a few notes on the thoughts in your head so when you go back it kickstarts your thought process. Also reading back last few pages might help. You sound like you need to be the orderly style of writer and use an outline. Read my lesson titled 'two types of writers' Good luck

You need the positive attitude and self confidence to keep writing. I am amazed at the people who have been rejected over and over who become bestselling authors. Think of what we would have lost if they gave up. If writing is in your blood you will let nothing keep you from writing.
