Let's talk about streamers and youtubers

There's a lot of people who earn money for playing games, drawing images or just for sitting in front of a webcam and just talk about random stuff to their chat. What is your opinion about this? Think it's fair that they earn money? For measuring, I'll just take PewDiePie, who earned over 40 million dollars in the course of a year. Also keep in mind that there are millions of smaller streamers and youtubers with no pay, and many less that earn as much as a part- or full time job.

I think those who are capable of making money that way, can earn too. Nothing wrong there. Some people are really getting success and I observed they are really talented on presenting things and get attraction of viewers. It is a blessing really.

Indeed. These are the same people as actors and sporters, and just like those jobs, it's not as easy as it sounds.

@Dracindo Same time I also watched some people are really creating stuffs for earning money. I don't know whether they earn anything by spreading rumors and lies.

If making blogs or making videos are your hobbies , why not give it a break as long as you don't hurt anyone, and it makes you earn extra income.

Agree, as long as you don't hurt people just to earn money it's fair, and as long as you are happy while doing it.

@Crafy117 I will say there's one unfairness: Women-- correction, young and pretty ladies have it easier to make an income on Twitch. After all, Twitch is mainly for gamers, most of the gaming audience are male (and single) and thus spend money on the pretty ladies in hopes of getting a relation with them. That's the only unfairness, but nothing to be done about it.

Me no longer. He was fun watching, but he doesn't play that many games anymore and it feels like he is faking his emotions when he does play a game.
