Help, Homeless Man Is Stuck In 1983

I will be collecting your 50 dollar donations today, so I can pull the Homeless man out of 1983. He says he is really struggling there and is stuck in stand still. 
Never mind, think I missed the meaning of the lyrics is all. I do not need 50 dollar donations after all. 
The Homeless man is not physically stuck in 1983, but think that is the last year he saw something change for the better.
More or less was the last time someone told him something that was not a sham. At least, that is what I perceive the story of this song to be.
Which is kind of funny because I was only 7 in 1983 and think he is quite a bit younger than me. Must be some metaphoric thing about 1983.

From what I gather he is not completely where he wants to be in life. Punk rock has seriously helped him, but it did not fix everything and that is the part he is looking for.

@arthurchappell Indeed, it fooled me the first time I saw it too. To find out it is only one person.... makes it to where his music is not what you expect in correlation to his name. Think he just uses the name as if he is speaking for the homeless or this is kind of what people from the street go through and that is more or less the meaning of his name.

Awesome, hope he enjoys. It is a neat video, had to go back three times to see what all the subliminal messages said. Pretty neat how he did that.
