I love Potato Latkes. My dad makes them for Hanukkah every year. I enjoy mine with sour cream the best.

I answered your question on Thanksgiving. See if you like the layered potato idea. I like the regular potato better too, but, I don't like it with flour. I like it with matza meal.

the name sounds familiar. I think my Mom made these and called them potato pancakes.

Hehhe, yeh, it's the same thing. But some people use flour with it, and I like matza meal better.

This is fantastic. It's fried in oil. You grate a potato, onion, and add an egg and matza meal, salt and pepper. Drop by spoonfulls into hot oil. Eat with sour cream or applesause.

where does this dish originate from? Sounds nice, not sure about potato and applesauce, sour cream sounds better to me.

I like the sour cream better too. It originated from the Mid east. I think, not sure though.

Yes, tasty stuff. I've been to some good restaurants in NYC that specialize in that kind of food. Mmmmm...

They are so yummy. It's grated potato, grated onion, egg, salt and pepper, and some matza meal. You mix that and deep fry. Eat with sour cream or applesause.
