Hello everyone. Today is already Friday in my side of the globe. And in observance of the Lenten season and as a Catholic. I do this every year. Meatless Friday meal only. So I have here some omelletes with tuna and lettuce plus coffee for drinks. This will be my meal for the day. What do you observe on your holidays?

Yes, i also observe that. Even at the office, i would choose fish and veggie to eat for lunch. At home, when the viand is meat, i open a can of sardines for my and hubby. My parents in law are old seniors are exempted. So, they forget and have the helper cook meat even on Fridays.

We do not eat or other animal products on any day. Just a personal choice we have followed for years. We eat plants, plants and more plants

I respect that you do this. In America often, Catholics, like myself, do not always follow tradition, but since I read this just now, I am going meatless when Friday comes around on my side of the globe. I think it is still a very good thing to make a small sacrifice like this. Enjoy your meatless Friday. I think that is a good thing. Meat is overrated these days anyhow. The scoop on this is as follows below.
50 years after the U.S. bishops made it optional, year-round Friday abstinence is making a modest comeback — but for many American Cath...
