Stormy the Stalker My family had this little cat, named Stormy.. She was a good at stalking.. She usually stalked birds, and Garbage to pick at. Yes, She is the same Cat from Stormy the Bird Picker Story... One Day my family decided to get these cow and pig lawn ornaments. The cow one did not seem to bother her at all. But the pig one.. Within minutes of my setting it up. I looked at her she was stalking it and circling it.. She would take a break to eat and sleep then be back to stalking the pig ornament in the front yard. It kept her occupied she left the birds alone for awhile. So family decided to leave it to see what would happen. The pig stayed and stormy stalked it on and off for a least two months. Sometimes she was occupied and would forget about it for a little while. But she was so obsessed with it when she was not eat sleeping or getting spoiled with cuddles by us.. She was back at it.. Creeping right to left, left to right.. from behind... under it threw the little poles it stood on.... Then we went on a family vacation ... My Grandpa would feed them... when we were away... Then when we came home.. We were like where is the pig? ... We followed the shredded ribbon trail of what was left of this painted pig on plastic... and nice long thin shred and smaller shred.. And we found stormy on top of the eyes which was a harder material still working at shredding them trying to destroy them .. She kept at it and kept at it finally I grabbed plastic from the other left over and swapped it with the eyes she thought she succeeded took a big sigh and laid down ... Stormy had succeeded at making that plastic big into shredded bacon. I think it took me a good couple hours to pick up her mess all over the yard .. Not sure what happened to the cow one.. maybe she got that one too and hid the evidence ...

She seemed more curious about it at first stalking it.. I am sure it was its eyes that she did not like,,,, I used to sit outside and draw and when I drew different forms of eyes she did not care about most.. but in the style of that pig she would attack the paper... I now wonder if they can see the color of pink. Many animals can not.. So if we say these big eyes floating in the yard.. We might attack it too. :) . I was surprised it took her so long to shred it she usually went after threats really fast. Maybe she blamed the pig as to why we were gone for so long. :)

@dnatureofdtrain why do other animals can't see pink? maybe it is really the size also that she sees. and yeah the big round eyes surely are eyecatcher. so when you are gone she's in the yard.

@Mavic123456 I am not sure some animals can not see reds or pinks, others can not see orange.. It is fascinating then there is a whole range of colors we humans can not even see. I think it depends on the way their eyes cones and rods form.. many have another thing in there eye that gives almost night vision too it is fascinating...

@dnatureofdtrain Casey, it sounds like Stormy was a busy little cat.
