From my childhood I had lot of restrictions ( not from my parents side, but from my extended family). I was taught that girl's should not laugh loudly, girls should come home before 7 pm. Girls should not travel alone etc etc. On the other hand boys have all the freedom, as they are strong. Thank god my parents never heard them. My mother was my shield, she fought for me and suffered alot. Have you too faced restrictions during your childhood??

My parents were strict with me and still are sometimes. Of course, my brother and I (female) are treated differently, but it's because we are different. Sometimes it advantages me, sometimes it advantages my brother.

I am sorry to know that you experienced those restrictions. My dad was strict and he restricted my siblings and me from going home late and not going to parties. I have a sister and two brothers. Just thankful he was strict because it really made us disciplined human beings.

My parents weren't that strict when I was younger. They just make me be who I am and let me do what I want to do regardless if it won't put me in danger.

I faced restrictions, but not as some of the people my age. Boys are different than girls. That´s all.
