Do You Agree, We Can't Really Do Anything Except For Living This Very Moment Of Our Life?

Past is past…we can never get those moments even we want them to get back!
We are not sure about the future as anything can happen in very next minute…that means we have got nothing in our hands about the future!
What all we have with us is just the present time and nothing else…So don’t you agree with me that instead of brooding in the past or worrying about the future, why not to enjoy the very moment we have right now in the life with us?

We are rather compelled to live in the moment as we have no other alternative....yes larning from the past for a better future is definitely an idea worth appreciating! Thanks @1hopefulman !

@AKRao24 Tomorrow may not come for us but we still want to be prepared in case it comes.
I was once told to love this way. Live as if today was the last day of your life and at the same time live as if you will never die.

I beg to disagree, we use past experiences to prevent things we do not like to happen or use it for things to happen in the present. I would give you an example my friend ( I used " my friend" now because in your past post you said its fine with you and infact I got the impression you liked it
) I once struck my finger in the past with a hammer for holding a nail the wrong way so I learned.
To some point I would agree that we cannot do anything about the future, we could die even as we speak 
but again most of the things we do at present is for the future, we start discussions so in the future we will reach payout. We save, get an education, plan etc... in the present but aren't some of these things are for the future?

Yes, we learn many things in the past and we take care that these mistakes are not to be repeated in life, but we are implementing all the past experiences only in the present time, as there is no real future, that is just an imaginary time and nobody has seen it so far. The future will remain no future once we reach there to complete our goals, that becomes Present , then! Thanks dear friend @louievill, for your views and I appreciate them! Have a great time!

That I will readily accept that and that is why I have initiated this discussion...all of us we know this is the fact, but despite that we all are worried and stressed out for the future and waste lot of time brooding on past incidents! Thanks @Courage7 !

True and not true at the same time.
Every year, i will always set my goals and objective so that I work towards it. Frequent review are always done to see how much are the plans different from the execution. I will try to rectify it accordingly.
A final review will be done at the end of the year to tally my achievements and to set the goals for the next year.

Planning for the future is to be done oin present time only.
Reviewing the progress at the year end is again you can do in the present time then.
Thus future is an imaginative time and present is the truth and we always have truth with us and at this very moment only what ever we can do, we do!
