Labrador retriever saves the life of a drowning man in South Carolina

A yellow Labrador retriever named Woody who is seven years of age was at the right place at the right time on Wednesday. Mason Ringer was working on refurbishing a dock with two other men at the Oaktie River in Oaktie South Carolina when the three men who were riding on a boat had some bad luck when the boat capsized into the river. One man was able to swim to the shore, while the other man was pulled to shore by a passing boat when they answered a distress call from one of the men on the boat that capsized during their lunch hour. Woody then jumped into the river and was able to get Mason to shore. Mason was so appreciative of Woody saving his life he bought him a huge steak. It is amazing what Labrador Retrievers are capable of doing rescuing people who get in trouble in a river.
