A two day old foal named Clyde was saved by deputies from the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office on Thursday when the Salt River when water burst through a dam, taking away the foal and two volunteers from the Salt River Wild Horse Management Group who were trying to rescue the foal from drowning when the strength of the raging river was too much for them to handle. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office boat were able to rescue the foal and Ryan and Bren Schultz who were the members of the group who attempted to save the foal from drowning. After the rescue of the foal and the two volunteers was over, the foal who was named Clyde in honor of the leader of the rescue team, reunited with his mother.

The foal and the two volunteers are lucky people that the Maricopa Sheriff's Office came to their rescue.
