We Hope That It's Just A Migraine

My baby sister and I were out having a girls day back in August of 2009. She complained of blurry vision and told me that it had gotten worse since we had left that morning. Since we were near our eye doctor we went to his office and he worked her in. I was watching him as he examined her and his body reaction frightened me. He told us that it was a good thing that we hadn't hesitated in coming to see him. She had an aneurysm wrapped around her optic nerve and it was large enough to burst. She was immediately sent to the University of Birmingham Alabama and had surgery to repair her aneurysm. Half of her skull and hair had to be removed and it took eight hours to do the procedure, but she survived and slowly her life got back to normal. On Tuesday the 27 th she is having an MRI to make sure that she doesn't have another aneurysm. She has been suffering from migraines since her surgery 9 years ago and her cat keeps patting at her head near her aneurysm. Her cat did this nine years ago before the discovery of her aneurysm. Our family practitioner is concerned. She thought he would think she was being silly when she told him about the cats behavior. You see the cat only recently started exhibiting this behavior. We pray that the MRI doesn't reveal anything. She is only 39 and still has a young son. Prayers and good thoughts are appreciated.

I'm really not sure how it would know. I need to read up on this, but I guess it is something that has happened to others too. Cats and dogs must be able to sense certain illnesses in humans. This time I really hope this is just coincidental and the cat was just trying to play with my sisters curls.
