Waiting and hoping she is alright

My daughter just called me a bit ago, she had hurt her back earlier. She said she heard and felt a pop and went down. She just called and hubby is on the way to go get her and then has to drive about an hour and a half to take her to the hospital. She called crying and screaming. I about lost it. She is a lot like me and can take pain.
I'm really scared as to what is going on with her back. I really hate sitting here and waiting too. So stressed. She is worried about bills and everything as she is the one that works and he takes care of the kids. So wish there was something I could do instead of just sitting here and worrying.
Thoughts, prayers, whatever you feel inclined to do is most welcome. Hate not being able to help my kid. Ugh hate this.

i just prayed for her. i hope it is just she will need an ajustment maybe by a charopractor and it doesnt last long

Oh no, I hope she is okay! I'm sorry you are in a helpless position. I hate feeling that way. Good thoughts sent her way. I hope it's nothing serious.

Well she went to her PCP today and she disagrees with what the hospital said, she thinks it is a herniated disk, for now she got a belt, physical therapy and needs to go see the Chiro. I'm hoping all that works for her. She is in pain still off and on but doing better. I'm telling you this family just cant get a break .. ugh!

I pray her back will heal quickly, I have a bad back and I know that pain. Wouldn't wish it upon anyone and I know not being able to help your kids is hard. Just keep good thoughts and maybe with a little rest and some pills, she will be back up and moving in no time.

I do too, have had one since I was 25 from carrying twins. It really is horrible not being able to totally be there for your kid. She is in a back brace and is to go to the chiro and get physical therapy. Her PCP thinks it is a herniated disk.

@Ithink Thats funny, I had twins when I was 26, that extra weight is murder on a back. Herniated discs are bad, my daughter has two of them and I cringe every time hers goes out. I have degenerative discs in mine. Just no fun at all. I wish her well and hope she feels better soon.

@Courtlynn I can tell you from experience it is painful. I have been bed ridden for 3 weeks one time, couldn't get up for anything. Sucked!

I wish for her fast recovery. Just stay relax also it is not good for you being bother too much, she will be okay. I know what you feel but trust God and just pray.
