I love where I live

Red Cardinal in Winter
March 25, 2018 10:14am CST
My husband and I just moved out to a piece of property we have had for quite some time. We are building a house, but living in a camper right now as we build. I love it because it is away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and it is so very peaceful. I just sit sometimes and watch the birds at my birdfeeder and hear the wind whistling through the trees. We normally get mostly Red Cardinals and I just love how their bright red colors stand out. I never thought living on this land would make me so relaxed and fulfilled. Do you love where you live?

Thats great. You are lucky! In my case, yes I do. I am near to a lot of places or I mean my location is accessible to other cities and major establishments. My place is secured and safe. Plus, I am near to my family.

That is great to hear! Yes, being near family is always a precious and blessed thing. I am also near my mom and dad who live about 10 minutes from me. :)

@woodruffhouse you are absolutely right! It is very comforting for me if I am near my family. I like that sense of peace. Thank you, Sheila. I am sure your home will be perfect.

Wow you are lucky to live near nature. I love my flat, but I have a dream to build my house outside City.

I loved living in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania but my husband has health issues so we moved to Florida as it is better for him. I do not like the heat and in the summer it is unbearable but sometimes we have to do things we do not like. The one thing I do like living here is I can garden a lot more months in the year due to the weather. Sometimes we have to take the bad with the good.

The humidity there makes gardening so easy doesn't it? Here it's hot but usually very dry with less than 10% humidity very often on those very hot days.

@rebelann The humidity is so awful. I step outside and within minutes my clothes are soak and wet. I hate it. My husband doesn't feel the heat.

@woodruffhouse Sheila, I do like where I live. I have a place for my scooter and I love the area.
