What will you be doing for Easter? Here in Australia Easter is a 4-day holiday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Many people take advantage of it to go away for a short break. Most of the churches will have services on both Good Friday and Easter Sunday, and many run camps over the long weekend. Do you have anything special planned for Easter?

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are holidays here in the Philippines. A lot of Lenten traditions are done on these two days. Lent continues to Black Saturday and then Easter Sunday. Most of the establishments and businesses are closed on Thursday and Friday and some open on Saturday. Everything goes back to normal on Sunday. Nothing really planned for Lent. Will stay at home and read a good book or two.

The holiday starts here at Holy Thursday but Monday is a regular day. Palm Sunday started yesterday. I don't have a plan yet for Easter Sunday.

It is a 4-day holiday here, too. I will have a family gathering and have rest. The weather will be rainy, we'd rather stay at home.

Roman Catholic is the predominant religion here in the Philippines. People will fulfill their obligation of piety by attending church services then it will be hitting the beaches and other resorts.
