Another Waiting Game

Yes, another waiting game for me this morning. Today, it is the turn of the Central Vac System. I am waiting for the technician, he is scheduled for 9:00 A.M. I hope that he fixes things here and that it won't take too long as I have other tasks to do today. The next waiting game will be for a new TV delivery and couch. Soon. How do you enjoy waiting for a workman?

No, I never like to wait on a workman. I hope that your vacuum guy comes early and is done in good time so that you can get on with your day.

I had played that game for the last three weeks. By now, I realized I didn't win quite a few (a bit upsetting, but perhaps that is God's will). Well, I am still waiting in case some miracles happen.

@marlina I almost blew my fuse last Friday. I ordered some books. The sellers got the money and shipped the books. Two days later they said, 'oops, we didn't send one book (which happened to be the one I like best, the main reason why I ordered that lot).' The deal now is, I have to pay for the book separately with full delivery fee. I got so mad then, and sad too... I almost got it!

It's not always pleasant having to wait for a technician. Hopefully, he's there soon and fixes the problem.

@marlina The cleaning will be done in May, after we turn off the heating. This is the yearly inspection from the authorities. They check that it is not polluting the air.

HATE IT!! Waiting is the worst for anything. Especially when you sometimes get ones who really do not always know what they are doing, or the ones who are Late or Never Show Up and want to charge you anyways
