Writing about our village deity really soothes my nerves for the dirty pricks, kicks and nerve pulls and twitches that I have bear the whole day by the witch of G/4 only because I do not want to talk to her and I am not talking. The temporary house where idols were being sculpted had the images of Lord Shri Krishna, Radha and Lalita but no sign of the sculptor but his name was found engraved at the feet of Goddess Radha Rani, the name of Padmanava Karigar. The LandLord of Mahanga helped Lt. Kunja Bihari Das Sengupta in installing the deities in the temple and granted lands for the purpose of ‘seva puja’.

Does each deity serve a specific purpose?

I used to love to sit and draw Hindu Deities and Deities of other religions all day. For me that was very soothing... I also like to write about religions cultures, and I enjoyed writing about my own views on it on my site.. heinzism.com
