How many responses?

Same for me. It's not possible to get many responses all the time.

@mlgen1037 I try to think of topics that everyone can respond to but there are so many different age groups here and we are all interested in different things.

@sprite1950 that is true. Even those that are really good discussions do not get as much responses.

140 is amazing. I would be really chuffed if I got that many responses.

140 is extraordinary and you posts are quality thats one reason you get a lot of responses.

@DaddyEvil I may feel like that one day but at the moment I like putting up discussions. Aren't you surprised at how long I've been here this time? Over a month

@sprite1950 (smiling at you) Yes, although I wasn't going to mention anything about how long you were here. I don't want to jinx it for you! BTW, I would like to point you in the direction of one of my earliest discussions that is still extant on myLot, if you'd be interested? (You might like it. I'm not sure.) There is a photo of Pretty when she was about 7 years old there. (I was actually showing off a bedspread I crocheted, but any photos I have are of Pretty, not the bedspread. It is included only by accident. ) Here is that link: I also checked to see what my most and fewest responses were on the discussions I still have on myLot. The highest number is 64... the lowest is 7.

That's very true and sometimes it's the unlikely topics that do well.

@Meramar Maybe but I meant some of the topics I have put up I really didn't think would be popular due to their subject matter but for some reason they were and did well.

@sprite1950 "Unlikely" on this site may be relativ. If we think about the number of members we can find here on mylot from all over the world and different ages, nationalities and cultures... I think it's difficult to define this word.

That's the way it is supposed to be although sometimes I hardly get time to do my own notifications which means I post less on the discussions of other people.

I haven't done that well today on my discussions but tomorrow is another day so hopefully I will do better,

Sometimes I write one and think it probably won't do well and it surprises me by getting more replies than I think which is nice.

Yes, it's definitely a learning curve. I'm still learning about what people like to talk about.

@ramapo17 Yes I am usually here first thing in the morning as that's when I am brighter although I do pop in during the day if I am around.

@sprite1950 Everyday will be something different. We never know as the great thing here is it is open 24/7 so we can log on here and always find someone to chat with.

Yes it's a nice feeling to feel that someone is interested in what you have written.

@lynnief I do. I usually find it is quieter in the early part of the day and then when the US wake up I get a lot more responses.

Definitely but when I first came here years ago. I would only get 2 or 3 responses so I felt a bit overlooked . I probably should have given it more time.

@sprite1950 my first post, I got more than 30 responses, that is enough for me.,as long as there is a response.

@Jessabuma That's really good. I think mine were just too boring at the time!

Some of mine have less but a few have done well.
