Day Twenty Seven: What is your take on Uggs. They aren't worth the money you spend on them. Seriously, they're just shoes.. or excuse me, boots. They aren't anything special. So to pay a hundred + dollars for a pair, is just outrageous to me. Heck, even paying $50 for a pair would be ridiculous in my opinion. Same with all shoes, like Jordans, Nikes, etc. But then, I barely even wear shoes . And when I do buy them, I only buy the $20 and under shoes . Because they happen to last just as long, and can be just as comfortable. So even if I wore shoes a lot, I still wouldn't buy any of the expensive shoes. ** ** Ps: I'm here for fun, and interacting with people I get along with. Not for debates or jerky comments. So if that's all you want to leave, don't comment. It wastes both our time.

No way would I pay for Uggs. Not that good of a look, in my humble opinion.

same. just plain boots, that are "soft" or whatever. Nope not wasting money.

I might buy knock off Uggs but I sure as heck wouldn't pay for the real thing unless it was the sale to end all sales. My favorite footgear right now are these slipper boots which are super warm and I have even worn outside. Hopefully, I will be into sandals or flip flops soon though.

I love my slipper boots too. But somehow didn't wear them all this winter. I wear flip flops year round usually but been wearing the icky pats slippers my niece and nephew got me for Christmas

To me they are just shoes that cost more than I want to spend.

Shoes are shoes to me. Something you wear and not a fashion statement. I used to buy at Payless and now buy on sale at Big 5 to keep it around $20. Why pay so much money for something that gets "beat up" on a daily basis.

Exactly! We grew up getting shoes at Payless and Walmart. (Though now, even Payless cost a lot!) Shoes are what gets the grossest every day. Why would you want to spend so much money on them, just for them to get so dirty, and or to have to always clean them. Such a waste IMO.

Myself, I don't like Uggs, but that is just me. You do see a lot of people wearing them. I spend a lot on shoes, I love shoes, and leather are my shoes of choice because of they last longer and I just love leather shoes. I still have our son's first pair of Michael Jordan Leather High Top's. Still in the box. Maybe I should do a post on it-you'd laugh! They were so small and so cute.

@Courtlynn My husband received his first pair of leather running shoes for his 30th birthday. With 8 pairs of feet to buy shoes for, his parents didn't buy leather.

I've heard of Uggs. Never won them. They seem a bit expensive to me.

Do you wear sandals instead of shoes or do you walk barefoot? Honestly, I can't imagine the latter.

Obviously I don't walk around barefoot. I wear slippers and flip flops.
