Would you move to another country and start a new life?

Have you ever thought about moving to a completely different country, and start a brand new life with new people, a new job, a new adventure?
Personally, I'd like to do that. I'd to like to travel to some new destination, experience other cultures, and live another life.
However, there can be many difficulties that prevent that from happening.
Let me know about your thoughts below. :)

If i have my way, a big YES to this. I would love to leave my present situation and hopefully change for the better. New job, new environment, new friends... And even new family, lol. But it will never be easy doing that. But who knows?

Me too, I really would like to do so. We could at least work hard and try to just travel as a tourist to explore some new places! Just a suggestion. :)

Travelling: yes, I'd love to travel for the rest of my life, knowing new countries, new people.
However I cannot imagine moving to someplace else than my hometown. I love Kolkata

My husband and I are beginning a new adventure in 7 weeks. We purchased a home in another province (not quite another country) 1000, miles away. Everything will be a new experience. All the people will be new friends.

That would be good if only travelling wasn't so expensive...

I have thought about it but you either have to be rich or have a company transferring you someplace or an in demand profession.

You're right. It's nearly impossible to change your destination and start a new journey if you don't have the required means. :)

Yes, exactly. That's the problem; there are many things to take into account. :)

I love to travel to different countries on temporary trips. I have worked for a family in Finland. It is a wonderful country to visit however I wouldn't like to live there. I have done a working holiday in Australia and I would love to live there. I haven't been able to emigrate there. One of the children in my daughters class emigrated to Australia. Her mother had a brother living there so that was a family reason. It is easier to travel from the UK I believe. If I had emigrated to Australia in my twenties how much of Europe would I have seen?

I'm discussing the action of moving to a new country. I just used the term "travel" to mean to move to a new place. :)

I never say never to anything in life because it is quite unpredictable. I have lived for a decade in US, for a year in Cape Town and 3 months in Tokyo. I am fine with it. I get easily adjusted to any new place and people. But I love my country the most.
