When you have a glass vase for flowers. And it has streaks on it. Scrub the streaks with a paste of salt, water and vinegar. The salt removes residue and the vinegar removes the cloudy look.. Now you have a clear glass vase to enjoy the flowers. The picture is mine taken by me.

This is a good idea. I have several vases that need a good clean.

I get those stains a lot, as we have very hard water. A lot of times we use CLR, but I'll have to try that salt/vinegar paste trick.

@jstory07 When I worked at Burger King years ago, we cleaned the coffee pot by filling it with ice and a hefty pour of salt, then swirling the contents around inside.

when cleaning mirrors, we would wet a sheet of newspaper to use to scrub the mirror. it usually makes it clearer.

Love those clouds. Nice scenery. Thank you for the tip. Sometimes gunk is left behind from old flowers and just kind of sicks to the vase.

Very refreshing view. Thank you for that, Judy. Will tell my mom about this since she has vases in her house. Take care.

You reminded me of some Japanese custom that my little sister alerted me about. When a valuable china breaks they use gold to link it up make it valuable again. How deep they think!!!
