Easter Bunny Caught In the Act!

No Easter Egg hunt here, it seems! This Owl has caught the Easter Bunny in the act of littering the environment with chocolate eggs (together with their non-biodegradable wrappers).
It ain't natural for rabbits (especially male ones) to lay eggs!
Arguments for (and against) banning the Easter Bunny on a self-addressed postcard, please, with a tuppenny stamp to http//www.BanTheEasterBunny.org

Don't you think that all that 'Easter Bunny' thing is really too much of a tall story? Who ever heard of a male rabbit laying eggs (and usually brightly coloured and chocolate ones, at that)! Isn't it much more likely that it's really the silent and wise owl who actually delivers them overnight? If you happen to see a bunny hopping around and apparently hiding eggs, he's just checking!

The bunny can run faster. I think it is just a photoshop picture.

Yes, it's a rather obvious and unprofessional photoshopped image!
1) the lighting on the owl is completely different from that on the rabbit.
2) the focus and detail on the owl is quite different from that in the rest of the picture
3) That type of owl is MUCH larger in relation to the rabbit than is shown here.

I know many would like to not see this Holiday anymore, but to others Easter means so much more. So not in agreeance with the thoughts he should be banned.

I was joking, of course (it was April Fool's Day as well, after all). Yes, indeed, Easter means more than rabbits and eggs to many people. My problem with the 'holiday' is that the proper and serious symbolism of rabbits and eggs is forgotten and abused as well as the Christian connotations.

Actually, if you look carefully, no bunnies were harmed in this photo. The owl is much too small in relation to the (very unconcerned) rabbit and the lighting is all wrong (where's the owl's shadow on the ground?). It's a rather clumsy bit of photoshopping!

We have an Easter bilby in Australia but he hasn't managed to displace the Easter bunny yet.
