Starting to smell good here..

The ham is in the oven slowly cooking. It smells so good. Looking forward to our Easter dinner. We will make up a plate and take it over to our neighbour. He is 83 and lives alone. He doesn't have any family so we help him out whenever we can.
It is a rainy Easter day here but quite mild. Just having a quiet, lazy Sunday. It was nice having a three day weekend. It has been very relaxing.
So what is everybody else up to today? How is the weather where you are? Hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

That is very sweet of you guys to make a plate for your neighbor. We will probably do the same for our elderly neighbor / family friend.
Our ham won't be made til around 5 though, since my mom and brother both work til 4. We cook ours on the stove, in the turkey pan though.. not in the oven. Wonder If it makes a difference in how it taste or how long it takes to cook 
. Anyways, I can't wait to eat it

We were broke for easter and so we could not do anything special. We did do something special on Monday when my money came in... but i am n9t a big fan of ham. We had T-bone instead

The weather is not good here (windy and rainy). We have rest, we've already cooked the ham and have tons of boiled eggs to eat.

I'm so glad that you're here and healthy to celebrate it with us.
That's so sweet of you guys to take something over for your neighbour, I'm sure that you'll make his day much nicer.
We just got back home a little while ago. We went down to see our son and his wife and take them out for brunch.

Happy Easter to you and your family. The dinner sounds good. Just trying to get through another holiday alone and have been working on the PC all day. Finally, this day is over and then I just have to quietly get through Easter Monday which we have here in Latvia. Enjoy.
