Of the women protagonist roles, Lara Croft easily comes to mind.
The Tomb Raider is one of Hollywood's rare films that depict women superior in intelligence and wit, brawn and beauty. As Angelina Jolie depicted when she essayed the Lara Croft role way back when. Not very far in time that is.
As Alicia Vikander followed suit in the newest remake of the Lara Croft legend.
The current movie, as is the trend in Hollywood trilogies, or series, ushers the viewers back in time, or the beginning, of how Lara Croft came to be the amazon like woman that she is.
This movie is an Easter treat, I did wonder why, but just the same, a relaxing one, when the viewer sits back and watches Lara spin into action after action.
Alicia Vikander is an incredible actress. Am up for the waiting for the sequel.
Sigh, if you are waiting for a spoiler from me, nope, you won't get it. Lara Croft is worth watching.

I like Star Wars even if it is totally boring. I mean, who would not fall in love with Luke? 
As for Lara Croft, incredible as her physical and mental prowess are, I would recommend young ladies to pursue the training. Not for raiding tombs but more for personal enhancement.

Alicia Vikander is beauty and form and par excellence.

I had watched the first two movies of Laura Croft,with A.J.She is very good in action films.I will be watching this one too.Will wait till the DVD is released.

I like both AJ and AV. Lara Croft is a highly physical role. An ordinary actress can't step on the role. I like Lara Croft.

I did enjoy the action-packed Lara Croft. The story is one little girl's longing for her father, growing up much on her own, and with innate courage that is the Croft bloodline, goes and seeks her father in an adventure that tested her stamina, wit, and skills.
I like Lara Croft. She is a rare creatture.
