My cat has a new bed....

Canada

...Or so she thinks. My furniture arrived on time yesterday and as soon as I set up my diningroom table, I can't keep the cat off of it! She made a comfortable bed on my placemat! Sorry kitty, but this is not acceptable. You can sleep on my bed, on my shoes, on my sofa, on my end tables, my coffee table and even on top of the fridge...BUT NOT ON MY DINING ROOM TABLE OR COUNTERS!! :-D

Not lovely. My diningroom table is not a bed. She needs to learn that. :-)

@Starmaiden Well it is lovely if she stays in her own bed.

@Courage7 shes very inquisitive. She has to test out everything before deciding where to make her permanent bed. :-)

I wonder what kind of wood it is made up of. Perhaps there is a certain scent she picks up and therefore loves sleeping on that table.

@Starmaiden haven't had the chance to be on here for a bit so by now I hope your cat has stopped sleeping in the dining room table.

Her and I are so much alike. She thinks she's the queen but I KNOW I am! :-D It's a constant power struggle.

My cat gets on the table sometimes as well. I know because I see cat hair on it or cat litter

Oh dear. I hope kitty minds her manners and stays off of those things that are not to be slept upon.

She needs to take over the good spots in the house. The dining room table must be strategic for some reason, the counters too.

I guess your cat has to follow you or else.
