So You're Coming to Colorado

One thing you might want to do is buy some legal marijuana, if, for no other reason than to be able to say that you did so. Be sure that someone takes a picture of you leaving with your white paper bag of weed. It makes for a great memory as well as conversation starter. One thing to remember is to make sure that you bring proper ID in with you, so that you don't have to go get it, like the lady from Florida had to do when we were just in our local shop. It's a heavily regulated industry, so they are likely to check more than once. In fact, the dispensary where we shop checks your ID three different times, each by a different person. Also, bring things like your VA ID if you have one, because some places give discounts. I get a 10% Veteran discount at our place, so it doesn't hurt to ask. In fact, ask as many questions as you want or need to. You'll find the staff extremely helpful, and you aren't going to stump them. Extremely knowledgeable, it's like talking to a very enthusiastic nerd at a Star Trek convention. They love their jobs and know them inside and out. Listen to their recommendations and advice and you'll be fine. It's a shopping experience that I highly recommend, one that you can tell your friends about for years. Photo is of a bit of what we just bought. MK ULTRA, an Indica. Don't know what that means? Ask your budtender!

Is that the only attraction of Colorado? You've written about nothing else.

Yeah, pretty much. There certainly isn't any good skiing or mountain biking or white water rafting here!

I am not a smoker, but I wont mind trying the edibles like the brownies that makes people happy or the Pizza that produces a feeling of felicity

What I find funny is that we just moved from Colorado to Texas and people think we all smoke pot in Colorado just because its legal.

A must see like Pikes peak, Independence Pass, Buffalo Bill Memorial Museum, Denver Mint, Rocky Mountain National Park among many other historical Colorado sights. Who would ever think simply buying weed would now be considered the "Sign of the Apocalypse."
