Going on a field trip

My eldest has a field trip this Thursday. As they need some parent volunteers, I asked her teacher if I could be one. I asked on Wednesday, and she said she would let me know on Friday. I then found out that I was on the list, which is kind of fun.
I kind of wanted to volunteer for one. When she went to the museum, my eldest asked me if I was going. When I told her no, she seemed a little disappointed. So, I told her that I would be going with her on her next field trip.
It seems like it'll be fun. And I'm glad that my eldest is happy that I'll be with her.

You are definitely going to have fun at the field trip.
Parents in my son's school are never allowed to go with them on a field trip.

@dodo19 WE just go somewhere as a family but parents aren't allowed to join in educational field trips. We do have a family activity held in school every year.

My kids loved it when I showed up at school for field trips, plays, singing, and even for volunteering to teach reading to special needs students. I'm sure you will have fun with the others moms and teacher, and make your daughter happy, too!

I hope you both enjoy it. I volunteered on one of my son's field trips once. The place we went the Manassas Battlefield and Museum, was practically in our backyard at the time! I jused to jog there.
